The children from Eco-Club “Blue Explorers” collected over 840 liters of plastic waste during the beach cleaning of the sea shore in Burgas on the weekend. On May 29, the Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation and the Center for Young Talents of Burgas organized a campaign for cleaning the sea shore line up to the residential area of Sarafovo. Despite the rainy weather, the team of the center and the participants in eco-club “Blue Explorers”, as well as several parents and random passers-by, actively took part in the environmental initiative. Therefore, as a result, more than 840 litres of plastic waste were collected and dumped in the designated places.
